Good afternoon everyone. Our trip to the snow was awesome, pics here:

Next trip is Pismo January 15-16th. Many of us will be heading down on that Friday afternoon January 14th and camping Friday night.

Not sure what the weather will be like, but if you want to stay warm, bring wood for the campfire! Please do not bring wood with nails in it (pallets) or wood that has been painted.

I don't think there will be a problem getting camping passes in January, but if you want to be sure, you can get them online now. Camping passes are now $10 per night instead of $6.

We will be camped out at the traditional spot near marker 24. Drive south on the beach until you hit the sand highway. Follow the sand highway out to marker 24. Take a left, head down the dunes past the little fenced-off dried up oasis, and up the other side all the way to the end.

If you are unfamiliar with sand wheeling, don't know where camp is, or need any other assistance, please email me and we can try to have you meet up with others before heading in. CB channel 31.

There are some 4WD trails in the area that we can run on Saturday if there is interest.

It was suggested that I try to tag along on some of the upcoming events "this one mentioned by name" so I can start learning more about 4 wheeling. As much as I would love to my Janurary is very busy with one thing after another. I should be able to join in on the fun next Month.

Depends on what everyone wants to do. If a group wants to go run a trail Saturday morning then we can do that. Or just fawk around in the dunes all day. :D

Mr. Liver can get rid of about .015% BAC per hour. So if we are .15 at midnight, we should be totally sober by noon!

Yessiree I am gonna be there!! Got my old lady comin up with the quad, and we just got a pop up tent trailer to test out for the first time, so I am looking foreward to it. I just hope we get to wheel inbetween all the drunken stupidity out there!!

How about a GPS game? Someone goes out and gets lost in the dunes. They then radio their GPS coordinates, first one to get there wins. Could be interesting at night, and there are lots of creative places to hide.
