Despite the whopping one person that initially showed up yesterday.... :flipoff1: , I had a great day in FJ! Jeremy showed up in his newly transformed taco and no one else showed so we decided to hit lower & upper Woodpecker and join up with another group just behind us. We ran UW without any issues...except my near flop coming down from the firehole  We got to the entrance to H2H and hung out for a few and all of a sudden Carlos shows up just in time in his (now) truggy. So myself, Jeremy, and Carlos decide to break from the group and do H2H. Carlos walked the gatekeeper obstacle like it was nothing and I had a bit of trouble on it. I just wasn't hooking up on my sidewalls and couldn't get through. I tried backing out to realign and.....

Cage works! A little pull of the strap and I was back on all fours...that was cool  I decided it just wasn't going to happen today on that obstacle so I took the bypass. At the double waterfall section my lockers weren't working, but it was just a fuse, so I replaced that we were back on our way. We got through without many issues. The weather was perfect, good company, and had a nice non-epic day :D

That's the line right there. Just put your driver tire in that spot and stay STRAIGHT. When the driver front tire climbs, go about 4 more feet and they slightly turn passenger and ride the passenger front tire along the top of notch the whole way. 60% of the time it works....everytime:D

Hmmm, automatic climate control. That'll be great when it's in the 110's or in the 40's. I'm wanting to adopt the Howyadoin plan but the downsized version of only 2 vehicles. The Tahcomma for the comfort enjoyed fun runs, and another for the anti sheet metal get some fun runs. Mixing the two rarely seems to work.

It will be a while before the aftermarket catches up and that will only happen if they are in service for a number of years with good results. Really the only thing it has going for it that is and upgrade beyond previous Toy axles is the larger ring and pinion........... does it still use crush collars or is it supported like a 14 bolt or a 9 inch?.......... i'd say, if it's not, that a bigger ring and pinion won't add much to the durability unless somebody gets Zuk to start making solid collars and setting them up. :2cents:
