Meeting started shortly after 1Pm (Mark– that is Eastern time) with the largest attendance since conception of new chapter.

First order of business was the website. Discussion of home page being revamped by Crosby with assistance from Drunken Cricket – no time frame given for completion.

Second order of business was the matter of back payment being due for current web server hosting as well as cost of future server.

It was concluded that if each member pays approximately $20 each in a donation, we should have all fees covered. NO collection was started and I will establish payment method with in this week on the board

second matter of business was the sweatshirt design and order. It was decided within the attendance the design should be revamped before ordering. Notes were passed along everyone for input and these notes will be passed along to Crosby who is working with me on designing the logo.
When changes are ready I'll post on the board as well as request new price quote.

From the shirts design the topic changed to 2009's schedule. It was explained that we have not established a full years calendar in advance which we are doing this upcoming year.

In conjunction with establishing a year long calendar, we are also establishing something new for the club in the addition of having "tech seminars/sessions" (I'll let Brinner discussion this topic as this was his brain child and he was recording the suggested dates etc.).

We established that having quarterly meetings would be the best thing for the chapter instead of trying to hold meetings every month or otherwise. Further meeting discussion brought the idea of holding future meetings in Bloomington, Lafayette and Indianapolis. This should spread fairness among everyone regarding travel to each meeting. Further attempting to bring more and more members together.

There was also discussion of trying to hold more W.A.T's as well as having a one or two "non-wheeling" events such as camping in 2009.

The last scheduling matter was the matter of possibly scheduling a run to Moab or Tellico in 2010. Obviously nothing has been determined but the idea is out there for all to start thinking about. (Moab and Tellico are considered two of the very best off roading in the country and we would like to make a trip to either place while the opportunity still exists. There fore Tellico may take precedence due to it's current threat of being shut down)

The meeting took approx. an 1 and half.

Brinner will post dates of events in threads already established in the events folder.

For all the new members that were at the meeting…Thank you for attending and for everyone that I had not met in person before. it was good to finally meet everyone as well.

Kent, tell your dad, he better be with you on the next run you attend. We consider him as much a member as you. :D besides with a name like his. how can we not consider him family also?

*if any of the attendees have anything to add…feel free. I am working off memory without meeting notes in front of me

Brinner has posted up all the schedules that were proposed at the meeting.

The threads are located in the events section. They have been stickied and are not accessible by anyone other than a moderator.

These are just a monthly accounting of what we are going to be doing. Once an event gets closer, a new thread for that event will be established for that event that will be open for discussion, questions etc.
