just got this email from the marines
To whom it may concern:
On behalf of the United States Marine Corps regarding the Proposed
29Palms Training Land/Airspace Acquisition Project, the Navy invites you
to participate in the project scoping meetings for an Environmental
Impact Statement (EIS). These meetings offer more information about this
project and they will provide you with an opportunity to share your
views on the issues and alternatives that are being proposed for study
in the EIS. Please see the attached postcard to find out how you can
become involved.
If you are unable to attend these scoping meetings, there is a 90-day
public comment period. Comments related the development of this EIS must
be received by 31 Jan 2009.
Written comments should be sent to:
