I'm considering getting some MT Classic II's for my 1998 2.7L.

I want to run 31x10.50 R15 Toyo Open Country tires on them.

MT Classic II's come in 3 sizes: 15x8, 15x10, or 15x12.

I am pretty sure I want 15x8, but I am wondering at what point do you go to 15x10?

Does anyone else have this combo? I know there are a lot of classic II users out there.

Thanks

stick with 8" rims for your 10.50s, 4.5" back spacing. 10s are for 12-14" wide tires and those require quite a bit of lift to clear.

Thanks, appreciate the patience with a wheel rookie.

Agreed, stick with 8" wide and about a 3.75" offset.

Running a 15x10 without any lift will cause some serious rubbing issue, plus good luck airing down a 31x10.50 tire on a 15x10 wheel. You'll easily pop a bead. Most people who run a 15x10 have a good amount of lift and run 33x12.50 or 35x12.50.
