Kentucky guys after seeing the IN chapter ask for money for the web site, you all may want to start gathering money to renew the KY site.

I still need to get with steve and switch the control over to him.

you dont need to be in a hurry to do this its still good till feb of 2010 or somthing like that but its not cheap and may be better to get 5 or 10 froma person a year till it is due. just a suggestion.

I would agree with ya! We don't need it to be like the last domain! I think we have a good bunch of guys. So we should be able to gather up some moola!

not trying to tell you all how to run the chapter, but one of the VPs might want to set up a KyTTORA paypal and do it that way.

IF steve would me rather work with said VP/ individual they could also be in charge of the GoDaddy.com account.

The paypal account wouldn't be a bad idea.

I will don't mind paying a little something. Be nice to see some forums on the kentucky site. Does that cost more? just curious. I hate to put money to a site that doesn't have much more that a home page.

It has something to do with Shanon on that, I think.

The Forum is going to be like Indianas where its part of the national board, thats free, but to be an ACTIVE chapter they must maintain a Homepage. I paid it up through feb of 2011. the plan i had for it was to post the OFFICIAL events, and the members pages, the names are linked to that persons photo site. the rest of the stuff is the stuff National says must be on the web page.

Just made this thread so that some money could be collected instead of have to ask for and saying we need it by x day.

as for the Ky forum Shannon has to build it and not sure where that sits since i left, I knw i had asked no fewer then a dozen times before leaving KY.

Steve will need to contact Shannon to have the new forum set up, and give him a name or two to be admins on the that forum.

stuff that should be addressed at the next meeting.

just my :2cents:

Sounds good. Glad to see that some ky forums are in the works. I hope they will be up and going soon.

I think paypal would be best as well. also, there is no minimum to get returns from the money market. Its not over 5% like it used to be, but every lil bit would help :)

I sent Shannon a PM about the forum but haven't heard back yet. I should be at Derek's on Saturday so we can talk about it more then.

Yes, things were discussed. Probably too much talking and not enough wrenching.
