So I gave up on Jeeps and decided to give an old Toyota a try. From what I understand from Jason over at notyourmomslx450, this puppy started out in Colorado and had ended up in Houston and lovingly been called the Goat. Still working on the new name now that its up in Fort Worth but havent quite got found the perfect one yet.

When it arrived it looked something like this.

Tore things down to get ready for the new arrivals. I removed all the steering and extra stuff on the front axle, gutted the interior, removed the existing sliders, pulled the transfer case and made a huge mess in the back yard. Installed the winch...Thanks Roger!

Ross and Andy are coming in town this weekend to start the reconstruction. I hope all the stuff I ordered from marlin two weeks ago finally shows up...

After a very long weekend we got as much done as we could. Installed the high flow power steering kit from PSC. Ross and Andrew fabed up a bracket for the reservior to weld to the shock tower under the hood and it looks real nice.

The front axle is a beast now. Installed the Marlin high steer, PSC hydro assist ram, axle armor and u-bolt flip kit.

The dual transfer case was installed with the marlin billet adapter. Its just floating in place right now until the new cross member arrives this week.

We also put the new corbeau seats in the front and began brainstorming on the back seat brackets.

Its coming along really well. A few more parts to round up and she will be ready to tear things up.
