97 and 99 3.4L the same?

i was wondering if parts out of a 3.4L V6 out of a 1997 tacoma would fit on to a 3.4L V6 out of a 1999 tacoma? mostly the valve covers?

I think the valve covers are the same, both 3.4's, the air flow meter is different and the power steering pressure sensor on the 97 is mechanical electric on the 99... Most of the stuff is the same, just small differences... What are you trying to swap?

Now I think I know who picked up that free 3.4. If you have the parts you need and want to get rid of the long block I could use it to mock up.
