OK, I'm going to need to do my SAS over the next 2 weekends if anyone's up for helping. Also cleaning out the shop. Giving the house back to the bank so lots to do around here.
Just let me know what weekend you're available so I can plan drinks and food accordingly.
Thanks.
Who's in?

It's raining - buckets... Please be careful coming down the driveway as my lake's spillway flows over the last stretch of the dam wall. My phone got hit by lightning or something, but surpringly I still have DSL, so I have forwarded my cell phone to my MagicJack (IP phone). If you get voicemail, please leave one and I'll get back to you ASAP. See you guys sometime this weekend.

Awesome guys, thank you so much for your help this weekend. Thanks to Alan, Matt & Christian for making the day trip today and a special thanks to Derrick for spending the whole weekend helping out on the build. Progress is great so far and the rear is now sitting on 37" baja claws and the front no longer has IFS parts in it (Hoorey!!!). Frame is pretty much clean and we got started on cutting the holes for the spring hangars and ran into some resistance due to the frame having a couple other frame supports within the outer frame - like 3 layers of additional bracing inside - plasma cutter could only go so deep/far and the hole saw - well the drill wasn't quite small enough to get in there to do the trick either... I'm going to tinker with it a little more this week, but will otherwise have to wait till I get back from Africa. Oh and while the axle's still on the bench, I have an 8" 4:30 3rd with E-locker on it's way in, so I'll be upgrading to that before I install the axle in the truck... another plus for waiting a little longer to do the job right.
Thanks again to you guysl for your support and great friendship. You've earned a spot in the RV at the next rainy, soggy and nasty weather trail ride (Oops that must be Morris Mountain I'm talking about - )

Yeah it sounds like it!!! Sorry i missed out!! Had the worst luck Sunday morning, the g/f's stupid blazer spit a u-joint...so towed it home...then i couldnt find a frickin u-jont within 15 miles.....6 diferent places..and not one had a u-joint for an S10 blazer...how stupid is that? So anyways, by the time i got that fixed it was too late for me to start the mini journey!!
Maybe ill get in on the rest of it on a different day!!

Don't have a choice - they've been calling my name for almost 2 years sitting out there on my lake scaping contraption, so Yes until I figure out exactly what I want and can afford.... as usual..

Glad to see your goin beeeeeeeegerThat was definately the plan and could still be as I'm not too keen on cutting all my fenders up etc. - for now they fit and don't scrub on the rear - that's without any flexing of coarse - it just looks so cool though - I may have to get a crawler box before I can support wheeling effectively with the 37's... I can dream too you know!!

Hey Jack, do you have any IFS parts still left over? Stock torsion bars, perhaps? :)Yes I have the hubs, breaks, axles and torsion bars. What would you need the torsion bars for?

i think he said he needed them to make tiki torches out of torsion bars:D at least that is what i would use them for:lmao:

Tiki torches are a great idea!
My 25mm bars just don't match the spring rate of my chevies at all. Thought going back to the stockers might be better. I threw away my old ones a while ago!
