Friendly Challenge?

It has been a while since our club has done some community service. With that opener, I would like to put together another Ouachita Trail clean up like we had done back in 2007. Back in 2007 gas prices went through the roof ($4.00/gal.) and alot of members were not able to attend.
The challenge would be between Arkansas Crawlers and TTORA to see who could pick up the most trash! This could be a great way to get some publicity of the good side of the offroad community. It will alos help keep trails open and possibly open more trails.
I have been collecting information for contacts and trails that might need the most attention. I haven't proposed anything at the moment with anyone besides Glen.
I would love to have some ideas and comments from you guys!

we need to run up to Jessieville and ride the old "auto tour" route and see what we need to clean, I know theres places off hwy 7 in the Ross Foundation that BADLY needs attention but about all i can do is scout and organize :(

as soon as i get my truck going im in.... let me know if i can help....ouachitas a big area.. might be able to have different areas.. so more can participate, instead of driving to just one area....

So what kind of dates are you guys thinking about? Do we want to try to do this before Takeover? or after?

When we have more of an idea of when we want to do this. We can post up on Arkansas Crawlers.

I am also going to try to have a story covered by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. More publicity!!! Better for our community!
