No bed but got trash cans !!! now all he needs to do is color match them to the truck, or vise versa

hey what are the blocks in his front coils. The white blocks? Spacers? If so why? Sorry to hijack.

Pretty sure the bottom one is the dual rate slider for the upper coil spring and the top one is the triple rate slider for the tender spring (keeps tension on the upper coil during droop).

Jeff's exo-cage looks awesome.

Anyway, as far as I know, Robert's "Frankentaco" is the first exo-caged and SAS'ed Tacoma:

If I remember correctly, I think the big boss, Shannon, also has an exo-cage on his Tacoma (aka Tacozilla), but I could be wrong about that. I know there's a pic of Tacozilla around the TTORA site somewhere.

Well, I thought Tacozilla had an exo-cage (I've seen it in person various times, too), but I guess I was wrong. Here's a pic I found of Tacozilla on TTORA:

The best external cage is an internal cage...

The best external cage is an internal cage...

Safer, but they do not necessarily perform all of the same functions.

Exo cages are primarily aimed at protecting the body, and many include a stinger bar up front, which will protect the radiator (and entire engine for that matter) if the vehicle rolls, as well as helping to keep the vehicle from tipping over the front. They also don't take up interior room like in-cab cages.

In-cab cages are designed to protect the vehicle's occupants. Period.

Awe, I know. I was just stirring the pot a little bit. I'm in the middle of building a rollcage (http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?p=211353#post211353) for our Tacoma right now.

Awesome cage!

I'm gonna do something like on mine whenever the SAC goes through. Also going to include hock hoops through the hood with a strut bar/engine cage tied through the grille to the front bumper.

Thanks. I've put a lot of work into it.
