Well guys I've been off the forums for a couple months with health issues and work, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. Haven't gotten to do any wheeling either.:( But the good news is I finally got my truck how I want it (for now anyway). So anybody gonna be at Superlift this weekend? I might go Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, or all three. I'll probably be running just 3's.

I hope to be there if I can solve my timing chain woes.
I'll be on 4s, though :(

Cool. I'll be in a '08 black DC with black wheels, so if ya see me, hollar real loud or chunk a rock or something lol.
Looks like I'm probably gonna be the only truck in my party, so anybody got any reccomendations for 3's that wouldn't be too bad? The only 3 I've done is Buckhorn SE (G14), but I had no problem with it. I'm thinking I'll do Rubicon Ridge for sure, but not too sure about any others

I hate to be that guy, but I'd highly advise not doing trails by yourself. You just never know...

Yeah, I will have a passenger or two and I've got plenty of recovery equipment, but I see your point....

What happened with plan B? Run into problems with those shafts?

I think I'm gonna have to pass on this weekend. As much as it saddens me, I don't think I'm going to have time to redo the timing chain and tie up loose ends before Saturday.

yea... forgot I had a ifs in it.. I was so wound up chasing parts and stuff. funny.. I put the axles and brakes in and noticed they went in really easy.. crap the splines were not in the carrier at all  what a DA !! I felt about as dumb as ya can.. so instead of pressing all the brake stuff off and onto my spare shafts, my parts will be in Monday, so I am just gonna air off tryin to piece it together, and do it right then wheel the next weekend or 2 probably still hit the park this Friday in the heep....

While it would be extra work and you'd lose your e-brake, you could always swap the whole housing over... You'd be back to the skinny rear end temporarily though. I wish I had known you were running an IFS rear...

Thanks. Yeah, I saw your jeep, just didn't see anybody around. Don't believe I could handle a 5, not upright anyway lol. We didn't stay very long anyway. The guy that was with me wasn't feeling too great - rough night the night before lol.
