Have read before that if their is fluid leaking from the outer seal that the inner is leaking. Is this true?

gear oil?? yes your wheel bearing is probably bad also

Spend a little extra money and get some Marlin Crawler axle seals. They work better than stock ones do. :kewl:

Toyota is good quality but Marlins are very well designed and offer more deflection of the shaft before they leak.

Did the diff breather mod this afternoon. Hopefully that will keep me from going through them for a while.

And probably for letting the axle breathe and not force the gear oil out the seals, assuming the stock breather is clogged.
