A lot of people have been posting about beer and such, so I should let everyone know that paragon does not allow alcohol at all. If you are going to bring any type of alcohol you should have 2 coolers so you can leave the beer back at camp and still have a cooler to bring your lunch in.

That's rule #1 with me or anyone I ride with. If you want to drink that bad stay at camp and let the sober folks do the wheeling.

Not to mention that TTORA prohibits alcohol on all sanctioned trail runs. It should be that way too. I dont want to be in any danger or anyone else put in danger because someone had to have that cold one for the road. Not cool.

There will be plenty of time back at the camp to drink. Definately take a seperate cooler for food andrinks for the park, as they will check your cooler. They did last time I was there and someone had beer in their cooler and they had to throw it out.

I know that people know not to drink on the trails but the main point is that you need to leave it at camp. Paragon allows no alcohol. Last year we had a few people that had it with them but were not going to drink on the trail.

Definately....

Before going on the trails - Paragon does TECH inspection (of your rig) and they WILL INSPECT the contents of your cooler!!

I was out in connecticut a while back wheeling with a local club. There were some local guys on quads who kind of hung around our group. One of the guys with us found an empty box of beer on the ground and started yelling because of the stupidity of it all. Not a moment later did one of those idiots roll his quad. he would have been crushed had a tree not saved him. I have two coolers I will be bringing. I like my beer, but i love my life (and wheeling) more!
