In case any of you are interested. The John D. Hale Band is opening up for Jason Boland and the Stragglers Saturday night in Little Rock at the Rev Room.

Show starts at 9. I have my ticket and will be there with PBR in hand.

So.. JDH Band is playing at the Rev Room on Saturday. Daniel and I are bringing the womenfolk. Anyone wanna join? These guys are pretty good. For reference, this is the band that was playing in the background most of the time at Gilmer. It is not, however, the band I originally thought they were. The more explicit song that played during dinner was by James McMurtry.

the "more explicit song" was the one i thought was JDH band too, :dunno: guess thats why i couldnt find it

i wish i could go but the truck needs my attention much worse

:rofl: yea that was funny as hell BUT

i think Aaron was across the table from me at dinner, and just as we were getting into the good bbq (right in front of a HUGE speaker i might ad) anyway, the singer was rockin thru the song and and said something about a female genetalia (wish i could remember what he said exactly) but at the same time our jaws dropped open and we said DAAAAYYYYYUUUUUUMMMMMMM
