I was only able to make it up for Saturday, but what a day it was!!!
I've got a fully stock 97 xtra cab 4x4 that has definetely been a highway queen, the truck!, not me. I used to wheel a 64 Chevy 4x4 back in Calif. but today I popped the cherry on the Tacoma. Jeremiah (Mudsliver) was most kind to guide us stockers on the green trails along with Rhiannon Cornfed and a Jason. They did a great job spotting us and coaching when needed.
I'm told that I tore up a rock pretty good with the post to my trailer ball. There were a few very minor dings encountered but we all had a great time!
I got to meet several people that I've "Known" since 1998 when I got on this forum. Met Mr & Mrs and little Cornfed, Nuke and Gadget. Met a bunch more, most of which I'll never remember their names. It was great to meet ya'all anyways! Kyle from VA. was a big help as well as a several others. The guy that suggested I/we take off my running boards, I'll find out your name again and definetely give credit where heavily due.
Thanks guys, it was great wheelin with ya and I look forward to doing more with the Pa & Md bunch, Northern Va too, especially when they go to GWNF.
Nuke and I took the title of oldest farts there, he beats me out by a year or 2.
Toyota put on a great feed Saturday night, Thanks Toyota!
Mike, stuck at work Saturday night, S.
