I just got an 85 4runner in very good condition. It's got a body lift and 33" thornbirds. Rebuilt 22re with less than 2k on it, 5speed. Needless to say I'm pretty excited, finally! I'll post up some pics soon

I'm undecided for sure but I plan to go to 529's and 37s, maybe rears up front with high steer and 63" chevies. sliders and armor and hopefully a double t case set up. I doubt i'm going to bother tagging it or anything as i have a tow rig for and trailer.

Well, It wasn't much of a run but I took the 4runner on it's maiden voyage on Saturday.
It pulls pretty good in 4low but I re-gearing is definitely a priority. It did pretty decent though.

Here's a couple pics, thank God it feels good to wheel again, definitely need some armor asap. narrowly escaped a few trees in the slop.

Just went down to Watts Oklahoma, about ten minutes from my parents place. It's all mud on one side and the other side has some mild to medium rocks to play on. It's not a big place but it's nice to have so close.

How bad are you hating the tires? I'm looking to get 33s before the Toyota Jambo in January.

x2.. If you're gonna get new tires, get some KM2s or STTs. Or something similar.

I loved my KM2s for the 500 miles I got to put on them.

x3, I hate them. They have good side bite but THATS IT! I would never actually purchase some, they came with the truck. I have had the KMs and the stt's. I liked them both, i'm going with either a 35"KM2 or a 36" tsl or irok on the 4runner as soon as funds permit them. the KM2s are significantly cheaper to buy than the iroks.

I've never had the KM2s but the STTs I had were very reliable, never had any problems with them at all. Andrew michum runs the stts on his runner and he could probably give you more feedback about them if you're interested in them jujew

I may sell my 35" KM2's with about 500 miles on them. If they don't fit the 4runner I have on hold.

Chesnut....lol jonathon

And yes the Stts are BA in my opinion but kinda pricey i got mine for 215 a piece... It was a tax rebate splurge idea...

Mine were 265/75/16. Approx 32x10.50. I actually drove all the way to Arkadelphia for that price. Everyone in NWA wanted way too much money for them..
