yes they screw on - the nice thing is you can set them to whatever pressure setting you want. Pulling the valve core sucks!~ then your guessing pressure f-in around etc.. These aren't the fastest on the market but I think they offer the best bang for the buck. I just use whatever I can to let the air out and use my pressure guage to check pressure until I get down to 18lbs. I know, stone age tech, but it works. I can wait.
Just use the quick air deflator it's $10 and you can do all 4 of your tires. it just doesn't have the brane like these ones
