Most of you probably already seen this, but i just came across this and i had not known of it until now. Been at work too busy, esp w/the holidays and had not had anytime whatsoever to even get a chance to make it out to the glade past couple months. I'll try in cruise out there and maybe run into Capt. Carrot Top and see whats goin on, if not i'll stop by the blm and get updated.

I was just going to post this up here. tried to email with what is listed in the pirate thread, but they are getting rejected. an update would be greatly appreciated.

Ok folks just so you know, I've called the Farmington BLM office 3 times today and left messages so I can find out what the hell this is all about... considering that many of us have been involved in the annual cleanups of the area i'd hope they will be up front about what is going on here. As soon as I hear something I'll post it up.

sounds good Doug, from what i've been hearing from other wheelers around here is that trails leather hat and reptile will be closed for good, and some other trails that have been "marked incorrectly" or not properly will also close. But thats just the word from others, i have also left messages w/the blm. Hopefully they return your messages as i haven't heard from them yet.

OK, So I talked to Janelle with the BLM, She states that a couple trails were TEMPORARILY closed because they were not properly designated as official trails, it is anticipated that the designation process will be complete shortly and the trails should be reopened by spring....
that sounds like good news.
