Most newer totaled vehicles get bought at insurance auctions by places like http://www.linnsauto.com/ for rebuilders or other fancy junkyards that dismantle and inventory every part (and don't allow you on in the yard).

As a matter of fact, Linn's has a totaled FJC now, for the low low price of $8900. :D

If you are serious about a spare, I'd start lurking over on http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/ and watching the classifieds if you haven't already.

Zack, I just spoke with Marlin, he said the output shaft would have to be changed to put the adapter on your 2wd transmission.

I wonder though if he heard me say it was a pre runner :confused:

Much to our surprise, we found a crunched up FJC in the corner of a yard we visited. I'm trying to think which yard it was... It had the roof rack ya wanted, Luke. I got their number - 501/470-XXXX. I can't remember his name...
