Well I desided to go to Cass today instead. I had a skid and sliders this time so I took it on some orange trails according to their map. If it werent for my gas tank and rear left control arm I would have made it up a good sized ledge. A-Trac kicks ass. I tried the rear locker on several places and couldnt make it, so I hit the A-Trac button and she climed with no problem. I wish I could use the locker and A-Trac at the same time. Good thing I got the skids and not the COs, because my t-case skid took a nasty blow first thing that took a deep chunck out of it, and probably would have wasted my t-case withought it.

It may have a little bend, and dose have some chuncks missing. But its all goog, worth buying in my opinion.

Good grief, what trails were u on??

The map said it was trail #8 a red trail. After that trail I thought I would stay on the easier ones being it was just me and a buddy with only one rig.
Oh and for what its worth never buy Nitto TG's, the side walls suck. My front left tire only has one ply left after about a 5 or 6 inch cut.

My policy is that you must have pics or it didn't happen :D

What kinda chunking are you talking about with the skid? Crap, those FJCs must be some heavy pigs! OR, before Glen says it, that must be some cheap, Chinese steel :p

That's like using saran wrap with a prostitute and blaming the wrap when you get the clap; those tires aren't meant to do hardcore wheelin on, especially a red trail at Byrd's.

Nitto TGs must be hit or miss as I've read where the same thing happend to other truck owners. However, my neighbor's boyfriend has a set on his 3/4 ton chevy 4wd and said he had close to 40k on them and he was hoping to get another 15 - 20 out of them. Same with Josh B. I've got close to 7k on mine and they're holding up fine.
