lost the headgasket today...... truck will be down for a bit i guess...looking for tips and suggestions on anything else i may do while i am in there that far..

actually it is the 22r on my green truck....and after talking to bruce for awhile it is believed that my timing chain wore a whole in the cover and dumped all the coolant into the oil....bout to order some parts and get started tearing it down!

I was gonna mention that. There are several companies that make upgraded timing chains and guides.......probly worth the money to get one of those versus the stock stuff with the plastic guides that like to fail

get a copy of the factory manual first. has it been over heated before?

parts have shipped out, have already started tearing into it, hopefully have it up by end of weekend or beginning of next week
