Nice 4Runner man! Easily my favorite 3rd gen color.
03-01-2010, 10:46 PM
Thanks for the compliments! It's surprisingly clean for being a little older, I love it.
It's a 2.5" daystar lift from Summit.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DYS-KT09124BK/ <----- kind of like that but 2.5" front AND rear
03-10-2010, 01:29 PM

03-31-2010, 09:47 AM
33"s mounted, it was rought but it got done. they just rub a lot but the running boards so this weekend ill be tackling that
03-31-2010, 10:01 AM
you got the rims to fit???
03-31-2010, 01:54 PM
Wow those rims looks sexy!
What size are they?
Have to use spacers I presume?
03-31-2010, 02:47 PM
rims are 15X8 MT Classic Locks
I thought I was going to have to refund his $
03-31-2010, 05:01 PM
wow you got 15s to fit, nice!
I wish I could do that, but I have done the Tundra Caliper upgrade leaving me stuck with my 16s
04-01-2010, 09:27 AM
little bit of grinding and a 1" wheel spacer and they fit. i was nervous as hell after i mounted the tires and the rims didnt fit.
04-01-2010, 10:10 AM
where did you get your spacers and how much?
looks like I'm gonning to need some myself
04-01-2010, 11:01 AM
You had to grind the calipers correct? I'm just curious. I tried to test-fit some 15's when I first got my 4Runner and they wouldn't fit over the calipers.
Joe, I have Spidertrax spacers and really like them. They run about $200 for a set of 4 from Spidertrax's website, but I was able to find some "blemished" ones on ebay and got all 4 for about $150. They just had a couple places where the blue anodizing was scratched.
edit: Also wanted to add in case anyone is curious, the spacers still came directly from Spidertrax and were still brand new.

Considerign taht even though the 3rd gen 4Runners door sticker says 15" rims came with it.
Anything above the base of base which I believe is the 2.7l manual or 3.4l 2wd with steel rims could fit 15" rims, at least over my years of learning the 3rd gens is what i have come to a conclusion as.

Yes, the calipers needed a little liposusction. I found the spacers on ebay for $60 for the pair. Then I had to get 24 new acorn lug nuts lol that sucked. Lemme tell ya, most places dont cary that many of the same style and size at once lol.
