Gold Lake/Downieville Next weekend

Anyone up for a Gold Lake/Downieville run the weekend of the 9th? I am heading up Thursday and going to try to play around with the buggy a bit. maybe Thursday afternoon or Friday. maybe Sat morning too...not sure. Let me know if interested in meeting up. I'd like to do the old Snake Lake run again!

If I didn't have plans already I totally would, what's that trail like? I go camping up in that area alot by the buttes, but I've never run that trail...

There are hundreds of miles of trails up there! Great place and off-road friendly. The trail that leads down to Snake Lake is probably a 7 out of 10. Sheer cliff on one side with several step-downs. We did it at midnight and I almost shit myself. Ask Puckerfactor!

If you can do Rubicon, you can so Snake. And just about anyone can do Rubicon!
