For all you mall wheelers who need some bling and for those people who actually wheel...summit has a killer deal on a pair of lights....with switch, relay..sha bammmmmmm
Those are some slick lights. Have you seen them in person? I got some cheap ones from AutoZone and keep braking off the tin tabs. They did, however, continue to work while full of water.
no, i just ordered a set...for 14 bucks or whatever shipped..you cant beat them.... should be decently bright for rock lights and easy to tuck away
what i did with my other rock lights was add some 1/8 plate cut out to match the pattern of the tab to make it thicker so they dont break..give it a shot
I ripped all my wiring off, but still have two lights mounted in the front wheel wells. Might try a better setup when I have some time and money to play with.

does this come with an on/off switch? also can you hook up say 4-6 lights together, wire them all to the same switch? i know.. i should know all of this. but just wondering.
i dont think they come with a switch..they might......i didnt see it say it did
but as far as wiring, it will depend on the relay you use on how many lights you hook to one switch and relay
30 amp relay.... 55 watt lights.... about 4-5 amps per light...so might be safe to 6 lights on one relay and switch...personally i run 16-20 amps per relay and switch
I have fog light type rock lights under my truck and I have a problem with them getting too hot then whenever any water touches them the glass cools down really quick and cracks. I have lost 3 out of the 6 glass covers on my lights. also with 3 pairs of lights I can run them no more than a couple of minutes with the engine off.
I found a better but much more expensive option. I have not done it yet so I cannot personally testify but they look pretty cool. they are super bright led lights that are supposed to put out 180* of light and be pretty bright. the good thing about led's is you can have your engine off while repairing a part under your truck all night and it will not run down your battery at all. they run 30 bucks here: http://www.roundeyes.com/product_info.php?cPath=53_51&products_id=8376
and they come with a wiring harness and fuse.
they are much more expensive than the cheapo foglights but I think they are a much better option overall........just another idea

i got that same set several months ago. i got mine from cabellas that were labeled as 4-wheeler lights. they are on the taco now. they came with a great wiring harness with a push button switch. has a built in fuse and relay in the harness. the harness is also loomed. if loomed is a word!!!!! i like mine and that is a great price.
how is the qaulity paul? are they worth the 14 bucks?
you snap some pics of the assembly?
