33x12.50x15?

i have a 98 taco with SAW coilovers and i think an AAL in the rear. i have 31 BFG A/T and alot of space in my fenderwells. i just bought a PA 3" body lift. do you think that i can fit 33x12.5x15 super swamper tsl's ar baja claws on 15x8 rockcrawler wheels with 3.5 bs?

that should work, you might rub a little but it shouldnt be anything a little trimming wont fix

you might wanna think about regearing...since swampers are real heavy...but that's about another grand if you have 4wd

thats true, regearing is a must with 33's. also, i'd go with the baja claws over the swampers. i wish baja claws came in 32x11.5 so i could fit them on my truck

Which type trans and motor do you have? If you are running a V6 you will be fine with 33" tries. If you are running a 4cyl. it will drag it down a lil but not anything terrible. I ran 35x14.50 on 15x10's on my truck with stock gears 4cyl. auto. I just drove it out of overdrive. Not sure what i reving then but it ran fine at 75mph or faster. GEARS make all the difference in the world!!!!! running 5.29's front and rear couldn't ask for more out of a truck with a 4cyl. running 36" tsl radials.

I really recomend ProComp MT's in the 33x12.5R15 size
I have had no rubbing issues, but I have 3" suspension and 3" bl
32" is not bad either for your truck
You can always trim your fenders
Consider how much driving you will doing on the road vs offroad
I run the ProComp MTs on my 98 taco d/d they are not too loud and do prett well as far as aggressive offroad

you will fit, you might rub in the front fender well if you disco your swaybar, but you will be kosher

i have a 2.7L with a 5 spd. what gears come stock? i would like to get 4.88s later. i will probrobly go with the claws. thanks guys. where do you think it will rub on the front fender?

i'm a 98 2.7l 5spd rolling 33x12.5x15's and gearing is a must. I geared to 4.88 and couldn't be happier with it. I have plenty of power around town and am able to maintain speed on the highway. I also get good gas mileage. :D

Agreed. I have the same setup and originally had 3.58s so driving made me :xcrybaby:

4.88s and 33's with the 2.7 are a great combination unless you do a lot of high speed highway driving. I drive back and forth to school often and my rpms are a bit high for my liking, I will probably run a 34x12.50 trxus next time.

I agree on the high speed driving, when i drive to and from school and home it's about a 2hr drive going 70 and the constant 3k rpm's gets old fast, but i guess that is the "power" range so it does allow me the capability to pass when need be. ( it's a 2lane highway).
