They have to. Physics says they do, and I know some people on 4x4wire.com that use them. I was just wondering if anyone has used them on this forum, and their experiences with them. I might run the Dyna beads inside the tire and the Centramatic balancers. and i think they're cheap. most shops charge $15 each tire to balance and they do a crumy job. this is $200 for life! figure $60 set of 4 tires balanced. that's only 3.33 sets of tires balanced then they pay for themselves.

After reading 4crawlers write-up I was gonna get a set of those to deal with my 33" PJ's but ended up selling them and getting the 35" A/T's instead, which ballanced out so well that I no longer had a need for the Centermatics.
You can give us a report on their effectivness at the campout.

i might ask one of my engineering physics proffs about it. see what he says before I fork over $200. But big rigs do use them, and to me they make sense.

well I checked my front axle, doesn't look like they'll work b/c of the caliper design. but they would work on the rear toyota axle. Is anyone interested in going 50/50 with me so we could split a set? 2 for me, 2 for you. $200set, so about $100 for each of us.

Have you read 4crawler's write-up on the wire board? If I recall, he had to modify something on the front when he did his install. :saw: Not sure it was for the same reason, but thought I'd mention it, just in case----

I got the D44 axle. really won't fit. and I'm actually going to try getting my wheels balanced by a Hunter GSP7900 Force balancer. See how that works out first.

Finally got a good look at my calipers to see if the Centramatic balancers will work. and YUP THEY WILL:) the caliper is nice and clear from the MWS. So Looks like i'll buy a set for myself when the cash is handy.

Just a caution though...I heard they have tendency to break. Especially when wheeling/rockcrawling. Also, I mounted my 35" procomp muds on some classic II's myslef. Stuck em on my rig and BINGO! Didnt even have to balance. I could definatley spend $200 in some WAY better places. Just my :2cents:
