So, I went into the store in Norcross, GA during lunch, today. Just killing time, basically. Started talking to one of the guys Chris and I have talked to a couple of other times. He brought up the fact that Chris was coming in to get new tires. I said, "yeah, in the morning." There are 4 35" X-Terrains on hold for him. After, a few seconds, the employee said "well, we transferred 2 of those tires to another location." My jaw hit the floor! I reassured him that Chris was planning on being there in the morning to get them put on. I gave the employee Chris' phone number to call and let him know that the tires weren't there. Had I not gone in there, he would have never known till he got there, tomorrow. I asked if he could get them from another store, he asked the manager on duty and his answer was just "no!" No explanation other than that. I asked the employee again, what he thought and he said "it didn't look good." I left and told him that his customer would be very disappointed. I know this is like beating a dead horse, but it never stops with these stores.

Those guys are the laziest, most worthless piles of crap at those stores and I have no experience with them other than the store on 41 in Marietta. I went their looking for new tires a while ago and asked them about the 15 inch wheels that wheelers sells (it's a procomp that they only stamp for wheeler anymore and they only do it a couple of times a year, is what I was told) but I asked if they had any of that part number there for me to try to save on shipping from Wheelers. The guy tells me, "yeah, we have two in the back" I say, okay, I'll take them and if they do not work, I live close by and will return them. Well, between them having two in the back and me saying sold, they mysteriously disappeared and the guy told me that they didn't have them. This all happened within about 20 seconds and they never even went and checked in the back after they told me they had them in the back.
I really think that one problem is that they know NOTHING about Toyotas and if you're not in a Jeep or a Full Size PU then they don't give two flying flips about you.
I really wonder if Toyota Owner's money is any different and worth less than a Jeep owner's money...because I just don't think it is.
I hate to give them a dollar of my money anymore, but sometimes out of convenience, as in I don't have to wait 3 weeks to get something from the left coast, I find myself going back there.
I will seriously rethink my next decision to use them for anything.
Let's all hope Chris doesn't get the raw end on this deal and that they rectify this situation.....

It doesnt matter they don't know jack anyway. I'm sorry but if Chris has already given them money then he has already gotten the raw end of the deal.
I'm a little older than most of you and I have seen this kind of service far too many times to count. I have been driving 4 wheel drives for 17yrs now and have been spending money not only with them (I even proudly displayed one of their windshield banners for years) but other stores as well and I don't want to see anyone get the shaft so take it from me when I say.............
NEVER EVER EVER SPEND ONE DIME WITH THEM, YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT!!!!!!
:2cents:
Chris good luck with the tires.

My question is, Why do you all still go there, knowing all the issues they cause. I have had a few and thats it. I'd rather drive an hour away for my shit.

they'll screw ya too. and last time i checked anything from them they wanted twice as much as even 4wheelparts, but that was a few years ago. they are all into building the biggest trucks possible. i don't think anything comes out of there with less than 42's and 17" of lift, it is stupid. i actually saw there 2004 or 2005 f-150 that is on rockwells with hydraulic suspension on 53's this week on a trailer being towed somewhere, i think they just tow it everywhere i always see it on a trailer.
my personal experience with them was when a buddy of mine tried to get them to do a leaf sprung sas on his s-10 and they quoted him $20,000.
