Hey Colin, remember how that green/orange LC buggy crawled everything at Tellico in super-low? I saw a vid the other day of it actually using some serious skinny for a change. I think maybe it was the owner driving it in the vid, rather than his dad (which is who was driving it at Tellico). It was just a short clip of it, mixed in with some Jeeps and such at a private ride at Gray Rock, but impressive nonetheless. Nice seeing (and hearing) it stretch its legs. :D It's a little large to be posting here (I ain't bandwidth-rich), but I'll upload it to my site and email you a link if you're interested in checking it out.

I would assume a Chevy motor swap, which is fairly common.
My curiosity is with those front spring hangers and the upside down u-bolt flip kit plate.

If you were to look closely at the rig you would notice that the truck is not finished. Those spring hangers were temporary until he fabbed up new ones.
He used those to figure out his ride height. Those hangers are not even welded on, so my question is why are you so concerned with them. If you were to look at the picture at little closer you would realize those are not spring hangers at all. Basically he had those sitting around his uncles shop. Like I said above, He used those to figure out his ride height. He was in the process of fabbing spring hangers and new shackles...

You would have to be a real dipshit to wheel a truck without spring hangers welded on...

Looks nice Chris. Is that yours with the top off or someone elses?
Mine's been sitting in the garage since Sept but I finally missed driving it enough that I took it out for a drive Friday night. It was about -10 and with no top, doors and the windshield down or I would have been out all night.
Plan is to order an Aqualu tub in August and do a swap over the winter. New seats, bumpers, wheels, paint and wiring and have it drivable by June if possible. I'll need to find some signal lights somewhere too. ;) ...Steve

LOL,
He is Cristo Slee, the owner of Slee Off Road. The front is designed to be similar to the 80 series SFA rigs which he specializes in. He and one of his fabricators just wheeled it at Cruise Moab. The tires are 39's I believe.
I just wish I could have been there and seen it up close.
