Finally getting around to a gear change... What the best places to buy gears? Also anyone with a tundra or v8 powered rig, what are you running for gears? I plan on running 35s in the near future.

I've been to JTs and met them personally. They set up my gears and lockers. Alex did a great job. Good folks. Ask for Carl.

Have not done business with ECGS, but they seem equally great. They have done some good development work on the Toyota stuff and understand it well.

Can't go wrong with either.

I don't think Strange has them for the 05+. I know the Op has a 98, just sayin. Been a while since I checked though.

I agree with both of ya ^

IMO it's always best to support your local community :2cents:

was my local installer that suggested
I step up to the US Gear R&P's

$ 1,400 gears/install kit and set up/labor/tax (out the door)

I don't regret the investment
and I didn't even have to get dirty ;) :p

JTs

Either US or go to JTs... We run Nitro gears ourselves and with our big tundra we have 4.88s with 35s...
Here is a link to JTs

Ask for Nils and tell them Land Pirates sent you if you do not want to buy from us. cost will be the same either way and they are both Nitro gears.
