So, I finally finished my conversion(Thoughts????), and have a problem. My 4WD will not engage. I swapped everything from the donor, the ECU, 4wd computer, wiring harnesses, front diff, tranny, drive shafts; basically everything except the motor and harness in the cab. The instrument cluster had the 4wd light, with a big circle in it. From what I understand, this is a "center locking diff." The cluster I had in the 2wd just had the little green 4wd signal, with the turned wheels. Could the difference in clusters be causing the 4WD not to engage, or is it the actuator on the back of the transfer case? I've checked everything from the fuzes, to the wiring, to the vaccum lines, and all of it seems to be in working order. The two vaccum lines going to the front diff are creating vaccum, as well as the vaccum line on the actuator on the back of the t-case. The only thing I can thing of is that this actuator on the back of the t-case is not engaging, causing the "diff" to not engage the front drive shaft.
IF anyone has any suggestions on what to do here, please send them my way. Anything would be appreciated.
