Hi guys, I put one of these together for a local customer the other day, and was wondering if this is something you guys would be interested in as a mail order item, it would require welding the mounting tabs on for installation, cost under $80 with shipping, please let me know what you think :D

Also, Please let me know if this is not the right place for this

Great idea, but I would want to see it come further forward and protect the yoke.

......that seems like a well thought out simple idea, I would definetely buy that product........I would love to see a the scrape plate extend over and partially up the e-locker housing on mine, you could use the existing bolt locations on the e-locker to support the top part of the scrape plate. :2cents:

I'd buy it but it would also have to protect the yoke

I would buy one. Seeing the time involved in fabbing one (Hyentor :D ) and the cost of steel around here, I would be dumb not too. I would like it to come up further but not much, I don't want to have to mess with axle wrap pushing the plate in the driveline, like Hyentor mentioned in a previous post.

Mine may end up just black after getting scraped up a few times. Its easier to touch up that way.

I thought about mounting it with U-bolts like that, but prefered the clean look of the tabs, nice work!

Ive been waiting for something just like that, I would want more yoke protection as well. Are there any worries/ difficulties welding tabs to the housing? Do you have to dissasseble it or drain the oil or anything?
