One member on our land did kill a possible Pope and Young on opening day. It scored aroungd 128 but it has to dry out before its offical, netherless its a good deer. Its in this months GON under the week one kills.

Kyle the deer that was killed on my hunting lease was the one taken by Kenny Adams of Covington on page 98 also Tyler Macann beside him is in our hunting club too but he killed that deer in DeKalb. It should make it too. Tyler was on the Cover of Last months with a 16 pointer that he killed last year on the same land.

Well do. I'm taking my new camera there Sat and I'll post up any good deer. I'm thinking at least one good one will be taken Sat morning.

We should keep this tread open so Deer kills could be logged on here along with pictures. That would be cool keeping track of I think.

A good buddy of mine shot a 207 lbs ~23.5" spead buck two weeks ago here in Camden, SC.. pretty nice size for this area. Other than that, a few small bucks and 3 does so far. We'll see what I do this weekend..saw a NICE buck at about 400 yds, hes mine.

more pigs killed so far... but that shouldnt surprise some of you

I just want to remind everybody to be careful. Use common sense when you go and make sure somebody knows where you are gonna be and when you should be back. A guy that I work with just recently lost his brother to a hunting accident. He was hunting in Canada, by himself and went into some thick terrain, lost his footing and fell off the side of a hill. Got covered up by snow and was finally found 3 weeks later. Yes, it's an awful story and I hate to have to dampen everybody's spirits, especially with it being opening week, but this will be a constant reminder to me everytime I go out in the woods, and if it saves one of my friends or hunting buddies, then it is worth it to me. Good luck, boys!
