What is a TC motor? A Scion tC? If so, those use a 2AZ-FE engine. I can almost guarantee it won't bolt up. Those are transverse mounted engines, so they are much different then an engine which is parallel to the drivetrain.
This is why the 2.7L 3RZ-FE engine from the Tacoma was suggested. Much less work involved in the swap and the power is basically the same as the tC engine.
I wouldn't recommend swapping a TC 2AZ-FE into anything, they have a long list of issues, not to mention how different the mounting is as showstop said. I second the 3RZ swap and will be doing the same to my 86 4Runner.
Ok ha about how much does one of those swaps usually cost and do you have a web sight link
