Is there no way to limit the dimensions of pics posted on the board? Do we really need poster-size images of somebody getting stuck, or of a broken bolt, or of Cher standing next to some poor deformed girl?

Hopefully the people who administer this board can give some input. I have a feeling that since the pics are hosted elsewhere there is absolutely no control over the size.

I guess all we can do is recommend that the offending posters figure out how to re-size pics before posting them.

That's sorta what I figured. Just wasn't sure if there was a way, like with the avatars. I realize the avatars are hosted on-site, though, whereas pics aren't.

Maybe we could direct people to free software for PC's and Mac's that will allow them to resize their images. I'll try to find some for Mac's if someone else can dig around for some for PC's.

As others have said, Irfanview is awesome. I've been using it for years.
