I am trying to order the studs that go in the flange on the case but Toyota says you must get the flange. Aka he said he couldn't find just the studs, is this true? If not do you know the part number?
Thanks
Kevin
Is there at least one stud in there? If yes remove it and go to the nearest ace hardware/true value and have them match it. They also have different grades of strength. I always go with the highest because its cheaper than toyota bolts anyways.
Lol none at all... It sucks and I know Toyota uses grade eleven for driveline bolts and studs and all I can find at ace is grade eight and I am not really sure I want to do that as a permanent fix. I am going to try and see how loose the spare m10 bolts I have are and I may just use them like NorCalPR said
Grade 8 is sae. Metric is either 8.8, 10.9 or 12.9
For drive line bolts, it's best to use oem because it's not threaded where it doesn't need to be .
Don't worry that they're not a press got anymore. I'm running driveline bolts instead of studs on my front driveline...
