I am pieceing together parts for the tundra brake upgrade and I have read that you need to either drill out the stock banjos 1/8 of an inch (correct me if im wrong), or you can pay 80 dollars for new front lines from wheelers that will fit over the fitting perfectly.
Can somebody explain to me why you have to drill the stock lines, but new ones will fit. Wouldnt the banjo fitting be the same size on both lines
u have to drill the banjo bolts cause they are tolong and they hit the NIPPLE in side of the tundra caliper... i "heard" that the wheelers lines come with new banjo bolts that fit the tundra calipers just right so u wont have to drill anything... u might as well get the wheelers SS brake lines just cuz ur already there u know!
Alright i got my calipers today and they didnt come with the little nipple that the banjo fits over so my question is does anybody kno if the ones from my tacoma calipers will thread into the tundra caliper? If nobody knows i will try it out and check back to inform once i piece together the parts
