I'm going to change out my clutch and replace my rear main since it's leaking and I'm going to T-case/maybe trans already out.
So what brand is good? I read on pirate that cheap Autozone/Pepboys clutches are holding up on other Toy's that see alot of rock crawling. I also read a very few post about the Centerforce and Marlin clutches are the way to go? There is about $100 diff in the price of the cheap to the big NAME brand clutches?
What do you you guys think?

Based on how I've seen you drive on the trail :D , I would recommend the Marlin heavy duty clutch.
I installed one earlier this year and I love it. Took a while to adjust to a firmer pedal, stock clutches feel wimpy in comparison :kewl: .

I use the Autozone cheapo $79.00 for the whole shebang and I have no complaints.

I was looking at the Marlin clutch but if a Lurk (autozone brand) clutch will work for only $85 I may go that route.
You guys really think I drive my Runner hard? Another then the sand pits and when I trying to catch up with you guys I think drove just as hard as everyone else.

Its not that you drive your rig too much harder than some of us, its just that you seem to do it without any regard for what the outcome might be! Also I think it helps that you know what your rig is and is not capable of...or again you just don't care! :lmao: We're just giving you $hit man! I enjoy watching you drive. ;)

I made it though everything I tried. You're I don't care if I break it during a wheeling trail. I didn't buy it to go out on easy Sun drives. My dad use to say "If you're going to play, you're going pay" that saying it so true. It helps for me that it doesn't have to be my daily driver. The problem its having now isn't new, the runner has been like this since I bought it. Thanks

You are right man. You gotta drive it for what you build it for or otherwise whats the point?

I'm running a Centerforce in my runner. I like it. Don't know much about marlin, but I'd buy the more HD of the 2.

I priced the autozone clutch yesterday and it was $144. I'll just spend the extra $50 for the Marlin or Centerfroce. There is a Toyota clutch kit on ebay that is ending in a few hours that I'm going to try and get.
My t case ($26 ebay with $50 shipping) hasn't gotten here yet and the guy I bought it from is pissing me off by not giving me a tracking # or confirming that it has been shipped. I also bought a used trans out of a rolled Runner with 110k miles for $200 shipped and that guy has already shipped it Forward Air from New Mex., which only cost $50 (cheaper then I thought it'd be).
So it doesn't look like my Runner will be up and Runner for that after Turkey Day run.
