Yeah I got'em. I had some rattling issues before TO that led me to tighten my body Mtg. hardware. Problem solved. Well the rattle is back so I look under my truck to find three of four Body lift spacers pushing their way thru the floor. YAAAYY! Of course Im going to have to fix it pretty quick before im sitting about three inches lower. Standard welding would work but I fear it will fail again. Im thinking in ways to reinforce the floor as not to ever have this problem again. So this will be a heck of a wrenchathon if anyone feels like lending a hand. Well it probably will take appx. 3 hrs. from start to finish. Ideas, suggestions or comments would be appreciated

something like this should work as well:
http://s94741489.onlinehome.us/pics/misc/Image1.png
black = cab
red = metal plates
green = bolt
notice how the bottom plate is a different size. if they are the same size you might end up with the 2 pieces working against the sheet metal to "can opener" the cab.

just curious, I thought that maybe if you didn't ,that would put alot more pressure on the body.And it wouldn't absorb the shock as much.

well Im working on this right now. Man this is fun :D The floor is all messed up but atleast i get to break out the new hilift. Got one corner welded so far. Does anyone know where I can get 6 1/2" bolts for the BL? the normal BL bolts are 6" and an extra 1/2" of threads would be nice. I looked at home depot but the bolt size jumps from 6 inches to 8 inches. It would work if they were threaded all the way up but these are not. Anyone feels like stppin by be my guest. If not thats cool I will be working on her until I am done. word
how much later are you going to be working?

if you still need bolts, try Northern Tool
