i think all pro has one, or they are working on one. you can probably call them and customize a package, im sure theyd be happy to work out what you need. http://www.allprooffroad.com/
bentup also has kits, i would call anybody before i order though to make sure you dont get something you dont need, http://www.bentup.com/
every sas is different so no one kit can contain everything, but lots of places are doing a good job of getting stuff together for it

All-Poo doesn't offer a conversion for the Tacoma.

Front Range Off Road for sure. I *had* a lot of All pro suff and slowly but surely it is all being replaced by FROR stuff. All Pro just can't stand up to the kind of wheeling I am doing...

all pro has recently redone all their components,it's better than it was,but go with FROR for sure,he's got the sas, & steering set up and all you'd need, only complaint that the sas set up needs to go further than 2 inches forward,my 35's rub now and soon to get 36's,already got the sawzall going on that, get the ott steering components for your flat tops though,no ?
by the way mols how do i get a little photo on the side bar? pm me

It's called an "Avitar". Go to the top of this page and click on "user cp" and then "edit avitar". then just follow the directions on loading a picture. The part that really sucks is editing one down to the allowable size!

Never been a fan of the "kit" but both Bent Up and CBI Offroad fab do a fantastic job. Both Steve at CBI and AJ at Bentup are phenomenal at fabricating. I've seen Brian's work at FR, and it looks good too...

Well Im in the process of rounding up the parts to do mine and had a question on the front. On my 80 toy pickup I used the rear springs with a few leafs added for the front which moved the axle forward 2 inches or so and gave around 5 inches of lift with a 2 inch drop hanger. Do people run about the same setup on Tacos? I looked at the Bentup and FROR kits but neither of them specify what length/arch of spring to use in the front not to mention center pin measurement either. Im not going to buy alcans because I could probably learn to make leafsprings before they could have them ready not to mention 600 bones a pair is bull$&*@. Doing chevy 63's in the rear which lift tacos a bit more than older toys I hear.

No one has asked you what you are looking to do with your Solid axle or asked what you mean by low cost?

this club has seen everything from $4K to $30K first shot swaps...hardly anyone is running their original swap set up... in fact maybe no one is(that has been running it for a year or more)!

you can plan it out to be ready for what ever or play it as you go along...either way I have yet to see any ones set up be genuinely "low cost"

From a straight forward view if you are serious about the swap check out FRORF and Diamond Axles... long run I've seen less cost and breakage on Brian's vehicles... not to say that your own measurements, parts sourcing and fabrication wouldn't be worth while...just saying that Brian's engineering and fab skills really show...time and money well spent.

There are a number of credible fab shops around Colorado that can build, machine or weld up every thing you need to take you truck back to 1985 standard equipment!
