Here is what someone on Yotatech said:

"This sounds exactly like a shift solenoid. Very common. Pull the trouble codes and watch the O/D light instead of the check engine. I think you'll find a#1 shift solenoid at the root of it all."

Does that sound right?

do ya have a check engine light on? or has it been on recently? Trans still acting up then... since I paid no mind to it on Sat... sorry. We should start with some simple stupid test (ie: stall testing- to make sure all yur one way clutches, brakes, etc. are working right...) um solenoids are fun. at least they're in the vavle body and it doesn't involve pulling apart yur tranny... :D
