Rocket launchers are restricted by the ATF but I,ve got some really good info on air cannons.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that the bender arms were ordered Dec 24 and I should be getting them very soon. I still need to gather money for the Dies ($260) and hydraulics ($60-$300).

As some of you know I've switched jobs and am looking forward to my 1st pay check in about 2 weeks. The rest of the parts will be on the way really soon.

Well, the bender project has hit a major set back. The Seller of the bender arms has closed up shop on Ebay and seems to have scammed half a dozen people or so. I am one of them.

I am 49 days out with paypal so they won't refund the money. Ebay is looking into it.

So I am going to post this guys info hoping to annoy him enough to call me.

why not save a ton and go pick up a jdsquared bender in ocala... where they are manufactured. the 2 big names in benders are jd squared and protools

so where are you money vs parts wise. if you are still selling shares of the project, i'm sure there are people who will put out the $$. I myself will pony up some money if you still need some assistance. Hell, i'll even give you a hand fabbing things up if needed. I've got a 210 and lay down pretty nice beads for someone who hasn't had any formal schooling. :rolleyes:

Hey man, I am writing in regards to an order my buddy Neil here in florida placed on ebay back on december 24th. I just want to let you know that you are in a world of hurt if these things (or the money) do not show up soon. No I am not threatening you phisically. I just want you to know that there are at least 10+ guys from our 4x4 club that all pitched in to get these things for our club bender project. So if you think you are just screwing over one person then you are WAY wrong. You are messing with our hole club and we are national! I hope we find that this is all a simple misunderstanding and that it can quickly and easily be corrected. If it is a mess up on your part then please just fess up, be a man and either refund us or ship out the goods that are owed to us. Things will not blow over easily if we find otherwise. The proper authorities will be notified. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.

Whats the status on used benders? Or possibly just buying one all together? It may be a little dorky but we could do a car wash or some thing like that to help raise the $$$. Or better yet hold our own event like a backyard bash or something to get donations??? I cant think strait right now but you guys know what I mean now elaborate off of this...

What bender is it that is being used as a model?

I have a Pro Tools 105 and could allow measurments or templates to be coppied from it.

I also have some machine shop equipment that might help to fab some of the pieces.

Neil, we can talk about that tommorrow when you are here.

There is also a steel supply close that sells small pieces.

If you put in the cost of the steel, dies and hardware I could help machine some of the parts.

It was to be a JD3 copy with 3/4 in. arms. I was in the process of securing a hydro source from a buddy of mine who works in heavy equiptment repair. I was thinking JD because the JD shop is in Ocala so dies and die warranty work would be for the most part local.

First off no one is going to get screwed out of anything.over the past several months I have been
going through a very nasty divorce, married 16 years and 4 sons complicates things.she was rewarded
a judgement on the 2nd that absolutely crippled me.she stripped out our account and was awarded $700.00
a week.I got stressed to say the least and had a 7 day stay on the state.I am back. I have materials

This guy seems to be pretty stand up. I have been conversing with him regularly since thursday. Just going through a very hard time but definately wants to get this settled as much as we do. Hopefully we can get a shipping label soon and get this project rolling again!

I got the arms a few days ago and the die came today, so all that I am lacking are the hydraulics. The ram should be here tomorrow then all I will need are the hoses and fittings. I do still have to figure out some sort of mount and cart system for it, but that should not take too long.
