I've got 4 30X9.5R15 Dueller M/T's on stock toyota steel wheels. Around 50% tread left on them. They have great treadwear and will probably last another 20k. No cuts or plugs or patches in them at all. These are great tires to put on your stock toyota 4x4 without a lift, they do really well offroad.
Asking $200 obo
They will probably be available sometime next week

I got my stock (I guess) hitch for sale. It's a 2" reciever and is beefy enough to tow anything a Toy truck can pull within reason. I'm not sure but I think class II or III rating. It doesn't have any markings on it though. $75 OBO. Came off of a 91 Ext Cab so it will most likely fit all 89-95 trucks and probably 86-88s too, but I'm not sure.

Yes. You might want to think about hanging on to it for when you do your SAS. Just my :2cents:

My apartment doesn't have enough room to store all this stuff. My closet is alreay full of leaf springs :saw:

There is an 81 truck on yotatech in ga for $950 obo. I think the motor needs a little work but if anyone is looking to make a trail truck this thing looks like it's in good shape.
http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=68751
thats a rip off. i got my 81 with 40,000 original miles, new bfg a/t's, and in perfect running condition for 500 bucks. :D if it had a running motor the one for sale would be worth it. oh yeah, when my girlfriend crashed it on 275 my insurance gave me $2000. and they gave me the truck back which i rebuilt for 300 bucks and it runs like a bat out of hell. :D :D just my :2cents:
p.s. i will never let the wonder truck out of my sight again.

I've never seen that one, 5.33 gears? It looks okay but could use some bumpers and sliders. I can't believe the Jeep Geeks let him post a Toyota for sale.

02-02-2006, 10:35 PM
they are toy axles if you look closely. so, 5.33 is just some number this jeep guy pulled outta his @$$ (might have been in there in the first place b/c he's a jeep guy). if you look at the rear hanger, you can see it's a dropped hanger so that means hang-up, but it's nothing you couldn't remedy in the long run.
I'm curious as to the owner's input on this thing. I would hope that he's got some bling axles in it cos those 38's have got to put a hurtin on the birfields (if he wheels it).

The rear hangers are stock 4Runner lower control arm brackets. Mine hang really low like there and its hard to see them untill you lift it. I'm sure it has 5.29s and I bet the axle shafts are all stock. I'd also like to hear what the owner says about it so I may call them and ask some ??. I don't think $4k is a bad price if the engine runs good and there isn't any thing major wrong with it.

The front is is what I don't like. Notice the tie rod is still in the stock position, obvously not high steer. And the shocks look like they are mounted to the IFS upper shock mount. It looks like it would need a little work to get it to flex.
usmcracing
02-03-2006, 08:07 AM
Yeah but atleast it's not IFS. You'll spend less on the parts it needs to make it a good flexly wheeler then you would if it were still IFS. Put some chevies in the rear, have NeilFab make a better front spring hanger with some rear Pickup springs, and get the Trail Gear Hysteer and you're flexing with a nice Runner with room for Five. Also loose the 38"s for somewhere around a 35 to 37/12.50. I don't think it'd be a bad buy.

Or you can be like me and go to the junk yard, get VERY lucky and happen to see one sitting on the ground in front of the shop. Go ask how much and they reply $50. You say cool and your buddy COUGH (neil) says "you should load that up so noone nabs it." So you do and then you go scrounge through the yard for other stuff. Dont find alot so you leave. Then as you are leaveing your dad asks, "did you ever go pay for that steering box?"and you say "SWEET, no I didnt...FREEBEEE!!!" SHHHH dont tell...:D

OK here's the deal. When I got my front axle the guy said that it was supposedly 4.10 gears but he had bought the axle as a spare and didn't know for sure. Well today I finally got around to opening it up, it's 4.38  Whoopee 35 ring rear teeth and 8 pinion teeth. I have like the rarest gear ratio possible in there
My question is, would anyone be interested in trading this 3rd for a 4.10 one? The 3rd is in good shape as far as I can tell. If one of you guys are going to be regearing anyway then why not help a brotha out!
I figured I would just throw it out there :D

Yeah it would be a good project. Iggy you can always take off the 7 inch springs and sell the tires, or run them. He never finished it and it was never bogged, at least hard core like he was building it to.
For $1000 it would be a pretty good start.

How much rust did the guy say it has?
If you want it for mud holes and stuff then the 7" springs will work. If you want it to flex and go on Fl trails then get some Trail Gear, Marlin, or All Pro springs.
Did it have stock gears?

Awesome man! Sounds like you are well on your way. And I do highly recomend getting rid of those skyjacker front springs. They are stiff as all heck! I had that same set on my old 84 ext cab i used to have and man do they ride hard!!!
