As most of you may have seen from this thread (http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20538), the Toyota Trail Riders (http://www.ToyotaTrailRiders.com) are hosting the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree (http://www.LoneStarToyotaJamboree.com) at the Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area (http://www.texasmotorizedtrails.com/Off-Road+Areas/BMRA+-+Barnwell+Mountain+Recreational+Area) in Gilmer, TX from January 19th – 22nd.

Ivan "Ironman" Stewart and his wife Linda have graciously agreed to attend the event. They will be there all day and will be available for chatting, photographs, autographs and Toyota of Dallas will provide a built 2006 Tacoma for him to do some wheeling as well!

If you haven't made the commitment to register for the event, the time to do it is now!

This is a non-profit, TLCA (http://www.tlca.org) sanctioned event for the purpose of raising funds for Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (http://www.texasmotorizedtrails.com/) (TMTC) and to promote camaraderie among all Toyota off-road enthusiasts. There will be nationally known sponsors, magazine coverage, and as of now, Toyota is planning on bringing a new FJ Cruiser for test drives on the trails!

Actually, Ivan drove a stock Tacoma at Moab (at the Takeover) and successfully made it up Potato Salad hill. It was something to watch. He almost made it up Dump Bump, but the wheelbase was against him. But De Woody, now that would be a challenge...

The truck is in the plannign stages. and it has to pass through the accounting department so I can't really say anything until the beancounters give approval. :rolleyes:

Just remember if it wasn't for us "beancounters" Ya'll would not get a pay check. Therefore you would not have any money to buy gear for your truck. Therefore you should be thanking us (Black Brad & White Brad) every time you get a chance. :D
