Well, For those that have heard me complain about my non-flexing, teeth rattling old pro-comp 4" lift, I have gotten some things that should make it better.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c394/mnnhd1200/f59430f2.jpg
(4) 5125 14" Bilstien shocks
(2) 63" Chevy Springs (2WD Version, 3 leaves with Overload and AAL.)
I Also have a set of Hysteer arms Hysteer.
The plan is to also run the rears up front.
I'm looking to get about 4 1/2 Inchs with this set up.
I want to have all this installed by 1/7 for the Dawsonville run, but I need to get a few other things, Shackles, Shock hoops, IFS Box, Hiem Joints...etc.
Wish me luck.

Those rears might be a little long...You might have to mix and match your PC and the rears to get 4-5". Also you will need some banana shackle for the RUF to keep out of the body mount.

Yeah the plan is to order a set of bananna shackles from budbuilt and mix the procomp's with the rear's to make it work. We'll see how it goes. If I can't get it to work I'll order some marlins.

Hell yeah man, let me know if you need any help. I just got "done" putting Chevies in the back of mine (thanks to Alan's mounts he won from Bud) and the steering box is sort of a pain, but it's doable, it just takes some time and patience!
I'm going to have to get your help installing my spool since yours came out okay.
BTW, I just ordered 23 spline duel cases to go behind the 4.3...I can't wait!
don't spend any money on any sort of kit for the steering box install, I did and used about one bolt from it...everything else you will end up fabricating yourself anyways, so there is no need to worry about it!
Let me know, seems like we need a wrench a thon!

Thanks Marshall, I'll let you know when I'm looking at doing it. It should be the week after christmas. Well see. I'll keep you posted when I think i'm getting everything.
How did you do your u-bolts for the rear?

The U bolts on the rear, I was able to fab up a flip kit with the bolts that were on there since there was a block being used so there was plenty of thread still left on the u bolts. We just made the plate out of 1/4 plate. It's not worth the money to ever buy one of those u bolt flip kits, they're so easy to fab up.

1/4" will bend over time, so make sure to keep a check on the the u-bolts.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking I might need to make them thicker, too. So I think I will probablly just make two more out of 1/4 inch and double them up to have 1/2 inch total.

LOL....I know I suck. Its killing me too going so slow, but I have been busy with all these "home improvement" stuff that the wife say's we need. That has taken away alot of money and time however most of it is out of the way now thankfully.
