I know I had alot of fun there today! My new tires are sweet, way better than the old ones for sure, I like te wider stance a lot and it help s keep me off of trees. We got a few pictures too. Once I get the chevys in it will be way better too!

How did everyone else do?

Brian got some pictures too...

When did you go? We left there around 200. The last thing I heard you say on the CB was someting about 4.56 gears, I tried to tell you that I'd be selling my 4.56 front 3rd and you can hae the rear 4.56 gears.

Anyway back on topic, I really enjoyed wheeling today even though I got stuck on a big ass rock and it took a while to get unstuck. Drew's truck did really good and his rear chevy's flex really good but he did have a few close calls. We almost thought he was going to flip once (or twice), he is a LUCKY SOB. I can't wait to wheel my Runner with SAS, 36/37"s, and a front locker. Later

I don't know when we got there. We talked to you on the CB right when we left Brian's house.

I saw Drew's truck out of the corner of my eye when I saw you guys this morning, looks really good.

How much you want for the front diff? Isnt it locker or LSD? I wont be ready for one until late January. I'm thinking of getting a 4.56 or 4.88 Locked 3rd and then findind a front to match.

I had a blast today! That place is really coming along. Gotta get down there more often. Very happy with how my rig is doing. I made everything with open diffs and 4.10's! Stoked.

Hey Ryan, I changed the title of this thread outta respect for Gator4x4. It's their/my local playground and we try to keep a low profile on it. Our forum is public and I don't want this spot to get exposed. This goes for the rest of you guys too  .

Now then, we got the front of Ryan's truck lifted. The 4crawler BJ spacer and diff drop install went very well and is a quality kit! We were'nt able to install the chevies since the Sky hangers needed to be drilled out and my bit was toast.

So we just slapped the tires on for the prerunner look (for now).

Then we headed up to South Georgia and played for about an hour,

It was a good day, got to help out a friend and get a little wheeling in :) .

Brian is the man! Without him and his tools it would have taken me like 2x as long to do the lift.

IFS really sucks, I don't need to explane. When you see the pics you'll know see why, as if you don't already know.

Thanks Bryan!

I think I'm going to do the chevy springs tomorrow night, I finally got the hangers drilled out  I am also planning on getting low profile bumpstops to have the most IFS flex possible (hah). The only thing I am worrying about is tire rub. I think I am getting some rub on the rear tires, something pushed in my fender a little bit  I hope it was a tree rather than my tires!

And like Brian said, the BJ Spacers and diff drop are an excellent upgrade for an IFS rig! Short of spending alot too much on a long travel IFS kit this is the best thing you can do for IFS (I think). I gained 1.5 inches of travel and lift. And I will crank the t-bars to match the chevy springs.

I got FINALLY got my chevys in with only a few problems that aren't even related to the springs  When taking my rear wheels off I sheared off 2 of my passenger side wheel studs  Apparently my lugs aren't deep enough and when we put them back on with the impact wrench they froze on. Hopefully the fronts are ok. I did learn how to change rear wheel axle studs though, it was alot easier than I thought it would be!

Pics tommorrow :D And I think I got a little over 3 inches out of the chevy springs. With a little torsion bar crank it will look sweet.
