Hey Guys,

I have a 2000 4WD 3.4L Tacoma. I would like to upgrade my pads and rotors, if it would even be worth it. Should I go with slotted/drilled rotors? Have any of you had any luck with a particular brand or type? With a particular store, online or otherwise? I've searched the National Board, but the posts list quite a few different brands. I would like to hear from some local people.

I appreciate it.

Rare Taco you got there ;)

I got some drilled and slotted knockoffs on eBay for $80. They work great and are pretty thick (ie the are turnable). Im not sure of the brand, but I could probably dig up the seller.

FYI...I got my drilled and slotted rotors and pads both from LC Engineering. The rotors were about $45/each plus shipping, which made the total almost equal to the cost of a plain-jane from anywhere else I've found - granted my rotors are like the old 86-95 IFS trucks.

you could call up demello, he had a set of slotted/drilled rotors and pads combination for 200, just tell him that your w/ ttora. I don't know when or how long this special was for or even if it was a new price forever
