Welcome! There are several good roads/trails around the Springs. And this is a great time to get started...our best wheeling season is yet to come...SUMMER!

what are some of your recommendations? ive been up rampart range road a few times as well as some of the trails on old stage road. (same road to get to eagle rock i assume?) my truck is still stock so nothing too crazy, yet. im in the market for a 3" suspension lift (prob either camburg or donahoe coilovers with a leaf pack in the rear) i def wanna get out on the trails around here. any suggestions would be great.

The two roads south out of Cripple Creek and Victor are easy and scenic. I think its' Shelf Road and PHantom Canyon. Both go to Canon City area. Eagle Rock is a bit much for a stock truck...or at least it was the last time I was on it this fall. Plus, the snow doesn't help make it any easier right now either.

One fun trip will be China Wall out toward Tarryall Canyon...that is fun. And when it warms up there are tons of fun easy trails around Buena Vista.

This trail is rated as a 7 and certainly earns it in some spots. I recommend going with someone who has been on the trail before. Now with the recent snows, it may not even be passable over the wall.
