I've decided to get some Brembo blank rotors and just run stock Toyota pads with them.

Given that quite a few posts on the national board say that a relatively high percentage of new rotors will come from the factory warped (or easily warpable), I would prefer to buy my rotors from a brick and mortar place, instead of having them shipped on the internet, so I can return them if necessary (or pound someone's head in with them if they refuse return).

So . . . do any of y'all know of a physical store where I can buy some Brembo blank rotors? I'm in ATL, but don't mind travelling 30-40 miles to pick them up.

Thanks.

I don't know of a specific place where you could find them but if you go to any performance parts(ricer shops, speed shops, ect) shop that carries Brembo they should be able to order them for you.

You sould also know that regardless of quality or brand you can damage the rotors if they are not bedded and heat cycled correctly. And with that said the whole rotors warping thing is a myth. There are some credible sources on the net that talk about this. http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_warped_brakedisk.shtml

Those who compalin about their new rotors being "warped" probably did not bed and heat cycle them correctly.

I appreciate the advice. I'm going to install the rotors and pads down in Hinesville, where there should be plenty of room to properly heat cycle them on the isolated roads.

In case anyone else would like to know, I called Brembo and found out about their local dealers:

JGG (770-998-8484) (my rotors in stock, $50 each)
NOPI (my rotors not in stock)
Brake Supply Co. (404-366-6464) (my rotors not in stock)
