Anyone running a trail besides Carnage....

Or is anyone interested in an overnight(s) trip down to Buena Vista area or out to Moab? (no past story replies please.)

We're just trying to get a few runs in this weekend either in Colorado or anywhere within say 8 hours drive.

Stock Trucks are more than welcome and encouraged.

Any of the "Newer" folks, here's a good chance to get out on the trails. And the Disenchanted Stock guys ....its some trail runs, not M&G bullshit, wanna roll?

Anyhow ....I frequent another forum these days so PM me if you wanna drive something or somewhere.

Flatt Iron Mall!!!!!!

It's alot funnier to me that you can't spell.

***Edit***
Brandon,

We're heading down to Buena Vista in an hour. Going to spend the night tonight and tomorrow night and hit everything we can until late Sunday.

***Edit Again ...lol....***
Not driving down there, I guess the fourmile area is open but there are alot of areas closed or "may be closed" that we wanted to try.

Going to probably do Sevenmile 225 and Moody Hill instead I guess.

[QUOTE=MuddButt]It's alot funnier to me that you can't spell.

What is even funnier is someone criticizing someone else's spelling whom himself spells a word wrong in the process. :D

See http://englishplus.com/grammar/00000175.htm

Please take no offense as no offense is intended; neighbor. :)

LMFAO .....definitely no offense taken....you got me good ...lol... :D

Now you could go further and bust my chops about all of the dots .....as well as the unnecessary paragraphs and numerous other gramatical errors ....but then we'd be here all night. :p

But that was funny busting me ....good job:kewl:

LOL...that's so lame...hey trailmaster...speaking of trail runs...when would you like to get together to plan some official club events?

I recommend that one member be designated to plan and organize each event and be dedicated to leading that trail event...so like if I say I will lead the event on Eagle Rock on 32 Maypril then I coordinate the meeting location, time and lead the run regardless...well, unless it's deemed unsafe to do so...

Thoughts?

:xofftopic: .... :p :D ....Busted!

Anyway, tomorrow ....Terra and I are doing Sevenmile Road 225 and Moody Hill.

All vehicles are welcome ......CB 16. We'll probably be at the trail head of Sevenmile at 10am. Then i'm guessing Moody Hill at around 1pm.

Quoted from "Guide To Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails Vol.2" -

Sevenmile Road 225

Location: West of Fort Collins in the Cache La Poudre River Valley.

Difficulty: Moderate. Several rocky sections require careful driving and tire placement. Skid plates are recommended.Shallow water crossings may be deeper in spring.Overgrown trees and brush create narrow spots along the way. Branches may scrape the sides of your vehicle.

Features:The trail crosses Sevenmile Creek many times and climbs to a high point at the end. Spur roads link to more difficult trails.

Time & Distance: The trail itself is about 5 miles long and takes 1 to 2 hours. Add another 1/2 hour to return to highway 14.

To get there: Take highway 14 west from Fort Collins about 40 miles. Just before the town of Rustic, turn right and head uphill on County Rd.69 following signs to Boy Scout Camp. Go 0.4 miles to Sevenmile Road 225 on the left.

This book does not provide GPS coordinates but I found them on http://www.4x4trails.net/ where you can cross reference these directions.

Here are the GPS coordinates just in case: N 40°42.211, W 105°35.078
